Mr. Wissam Al Massadeh

Mr. Wissam Al Massadeh is a Psychologist at Medcare Camali Clinic in Jumeirah. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, followed by another Bachelor’s degree in Theology from the Pontifical University of Lateran in Rome. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Developmental and Educational Sciences from Salesian Pontifical University, Rome and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Jordan. He is a member of the Community Development Authority (CDA) of Dubai, the Jordanian Clinical Psychologists Association, the Jordanian Psychological Association (JPA), the American Psychological Association (APA) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Mr. Al Massadeh began his career with the Ministry of Social Development in Jordan, where he was involved in juvenile and orphan care projects. Later, he worked as an expert Psychologist at Wellbees, an employee wellbeing company, headquartered in Turkey. Subsequently, he moved to the UAE to join Medcare as a Psychologist.
Mr. Al Massadeh’s expertise spans the full range of psycho-social aspects of chronic and acute medical conditions, including depression disorders, anxiety disorders eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), burnout, and trauma. He works extensively with trauma and uses a variety of evidence-based therapies, including - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), CBT for Trauma, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). He treats patients with challenges such as problem-solving skills, emotion regulation, learning difficulties, intellectual disability, and also works with gifted and talented individuals.

In his spare time, he enjoys photography, reading, meditation and creating content for awareness videos about mental health. He keeps fit by playing Basketball, Soccer and Ping-pong and loves swimming and walking too. He speaks Arabic, English, French and Italian.
