Dr. Ali Al-Ani

Dr. Ali Al-Ani is a skilled Specialist Plastic Surgeon working at Medcare Hospital – Sharjah. He completed his MBChB from the University of Baghdad in Iraq and is a Norwegian Board Certified Plastic Surgeon from Helsedirektoratet.

Dr. Al-Ani has more than two decades of experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery across Norway, the UAE, Iraq, and the UK. He is known for his comprehensive consultations and individualised treatment planning. He performs a wide range of procedures, including body contouring, facial surgery and breast surgery. He is also experienced in skin surgery, wound management using reconstructive techniques and management of hand conditions.

He performs abdominoplasty, brachioplasty, thigh lift, blepharoplasty, eyebrow lift, otoplasty for prominent “bat” ears, liposuction, fat grafting, and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). He manages breast augmentation, mastopexy, breast reduction, gynecomastia correction, implant-based breast reconstruction after breast cancer, and correction of inverted nipples. His expertise includes the management of acute and chronic wounds, including complex and non-healing wounds, diabetic ulcers, pressure sores, and postoperative complications, using reconstructive techniques such as local flaps and skin grafting.
