About
Dr. Mohamed Shahid Padiyar is a Specialist in Paediatrics at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. He completed his MBBS and MD in Paediatrics from India. He further went on to complete a Fellowship in Neonatology and gathered many qualifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Programme) and PALS (Paediatric Advanced Life Support).
Dr. Padiyar commenced his career as a Senior Registrar at the Bhabha Government Hospital in Mumbai followed by a Clinical Fellowship in Neonatology at the Surya Hospital, also in Mumbai. Subsequently, he worked as a Junior Consultant Intensivist at the Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, before moving to the UAE. He then served as a Specialist in Paediatrics at the Zulekha Hospital in Dubai.
Dr. Padiyar’s expertise covers the entire gamut of Paediatric infectious diseases, paediatric allergic disorders, vaccination, NICU-extreme prematurity, extremely low birth weight, ventilation, growth development monitoring, paediatric intensive and emergency- ventilation and other critical conditions. He has successfully treated post-surgical cases, respiratory infections, allergic conditions and birth asphyxia.
During his free time, he enjoys playing football and cricket. He speaks English and Urdu.
