Dr. Noura Mohamed Juma

Dr. Noura Mohamed Juma is a Paediatrics Dentist at the Medcare Hospital in Sharjah. She qualified as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Ajman University of Science and Technology, UAE and then decided to specialise. She has a Master's Degree (MSC) in Paediatric Dentistry from Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dubai.

With almost two decades of experience in clinical dentistry, Dr. Juma has worked both in the Government sector hospitals as well as the private clinics and hospitals in the UAE. She is a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry with a focus on comprehensive care, certified in behaviour management techniques and sedation dentistry. She has extensive experience working with children with special healthcare needs. Her journey is inspiring as she had to balance her studies with the demands of bringing up two children with special needs and caring for her mother, who was battling cancer. She displays resilience and dedication in both her professional and personal life.

Her experience in dentistry covers the entire gamut of comprehensive paediatric dental care from infancy through adolescence. This includes the diagnosis and management of Early Childhood Caries (ECC), behavioural management and communication with anxious or special needs children, prevention and correction of harmful oral habits (e.g., thumb sucking, bruxism), space maintenance and interceptive orthodontics for early tooth loss and family education and parental guidance to promote lifelong oral health.

Dr. Juma enjoys reading in her spare time and speaks English and Arabic fluently.
