 Dr. Mohamed Elfekky is a skilled Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon at Medcare Hospital Sharjah. He completed his MBBCh and an MSc in Orthopaedic Surgery from Alexandria University, Egypt. He then obtained an MD in Orthopaedic Surgery from Cairo University, Egypt, an MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University and a Diploma in Computer-Assisted Surgery from Glasgow, UK. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Glasgow, UK and holds a Fellowship in Advanced Knee Surgery from the American Hospital Dubai (Tarabichi Institute), in addition to a SICOT Diploma from Belgium. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and a board member of the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction (ICJR), Middle East.

He commenced his sterling career as a Resident Orthopaedic Surgeon with Alexandria University. In the nascency of his career, he was a lecturer of Orthopaedic Surgery at Sirte University and a Senior Specialist at Ibn Seena Hospital. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE, where he joined the American Hospital, Dubai as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon. He then spent over a decade with the Hatta Hospital under the Dubai Health Authority, first as a Senior Specialist and then as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. He was a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Director of Education at Tarabichi Joint Care Enhanced Recovery Institute. He spent some time as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Mohammed Bin Rashid University (MBRU) of Medicine and Health Sciences.
