About
Dr. Zimmermann is an internationally recognized expert in the regeneration of musculoskeletal tissues. His scientific research – in particular on growth factors and their clinical application – has been widely published in high-ranking international journals and presented in over 200 scientific talks. Due to his international reputation, Dr. Zimmermann frequently delivers center of excellence courses in the clinical application of adult stem cells and growth factors to international colleagues and offers them observerships in this area. As one of the first course directors for Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses in Germany, he has played an important role in introducing and universally establishing this treatment algorithm in this country.
