Dr. Mais Ibrahim

Dr. Mais Ibrahim is a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Medcare Hospital-Sharjah. She obtained her MBBS from Tishreen University, Syria and then completed her Master’s Degree in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Damascus University, also in Syria. She holds an Arab Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Damascus University, Syria.

With more than a decade of clinical experience in providing comprehensive women’s healthcare, Dr. Ibrahim is skilled in managing normal and high-risk pregnancies, gynaecological disorders, and performs a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological procedures. She began her career in Syria and later relocated to the UAE. She worked as a Consultant at Oriana Hospital Daycare Surgery, Sharjah and NMC Royal Hospital, Sharjah, before joining Medcare.

Dr. Ibrahim’s area of expertise covers antenatal and postnatal care, management of high-risk pregnancies, normal vaginal delivery and assisted delivery, Caesarean sections, early pregnancy assessment and miscarriage management, gynaecological consultations and procedures, pelvic ultrasound in obstetrics and gynaecology, family planning and contraception counselling, management of menstrual disorders and PCOS, cervical cancer screening and women’s preventive health.

Dr. Ibrahim has strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills that contribute to delivering patient-centred care. She focuses on providing high standards of care in hospital settings when working within multidisciplinary medical teams. She speaks Arabic and English.
