Dr. Panakkal Francis Sunny

Dr. Panakkal Francis Sunny is an experienced general physician who often undertakes complicated cases across a wide range of sub specialities of internal medicine. He is a member and fellow of the prestigious Royal College of Physicians, UK. After spending close to two decades in government service as a specialty physician at the Ministry of Health, Kuwait Hospital, Sharjah, UAE, he moved to the private sector in 2017 when he joined Medcare Hospital. He is a member of the Association of Kerala Medical Graduates, Sharjah, UAE and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, UK.

His areas of exepertise are hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections and cardiovascular diseases. In particular, he treats hypertensive emergencies, complications of diabetes and tropical diseases that are difficult to identify.
