Dr. Amira Zoheir

Dr. Amira Zoheir is a senior specialist in gynaecological surgery and an expert in the field of vaginal repair, tightening and reconstruction. She studied medicine from Alexandria University, Egypt and went on to acquire further training in advanced surgical procedures and techniques such as laproscopy and hysteroscopy, endoscopy, colposcopy and 3D / 4D ultrasonography from prestigious institutions such as, the Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Education Institute, Philadelphia, USA, the Wessex Foetal Medicine Department, Princess Anne Hospital, UK and the Alexandria Endoscopy Association (Alexea), Egypt. She is the founding member of the Middle East Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (MESGE) and a member of the Middle East Fertility Society (MEFS) and the Emirates Medical Association.

Dr Zoheir specialises in minimally invasive medical interventions and places an emphasis on the laprosopic surgical management of all gynaecological illnesses. She is particularly skilled in the treatment of advanced surgical gynaecological pathologies such as pelvic adhesiolysis and pelvic floor repairs. She performs operative and diagnostic hysteroscopy, colposcopy and LLETZ procedures, vaginoplasty and labiaplasty procedures, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy, myomectomy and tubo-ovarian mass removal surgeries and offers laser therapy for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence and vaginal rejuvenation.

Dr. Zoheir loves the open seas and spends her free time swimming, snorkeling and fishing. She is proficient in Arabic, English and French.
