Dr. Hala Khalifa

Dr. Hala Khalifa is a Specialist in Family Medicine at the Medcare Hospitals . She completed her MBBS from the University of Khartoum's Faculty of Medicine. She further bolstered her qualifications with a membership of the prestigious Royal College of General Physicians (MRCGP), UK. Additionally, she holds a Post-Graduate Higher Diploma in Diabetes and Endocrinology from the University of Plymouth, UK. Her dedication to continuous learning is evidenced by her completion of various professional development courses in critical areas like emergency medicine, advanced cardiac life support, and advanced ECG interpretation. 

Having spent almost two decades in her chosen field, Dr. Khalifa has worked in diverse hospital settings across Sudan and the UAE. Her career began as a Medical Officer, providing well-rounded care at institutions including the Police Hospital, Ahmed Qassim Paediatric Hospital and Omdurman Military Hospital, all in Sudan. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE where she worked as a Specialist in Family Medicine at well-known hospitals including the NMC Royal Hospital in Sharjah. She offers comprehensive and patient-centered care, that demonstrates her commitment to her profession.

Dr. Khalifa possesses a broad range of expertise within Family Medicine that includes acute care, critical care follow-up, chronic disease management, preventative care and lifestyle management. She understands the importance of lifestyle factors and offers programs to help patients manage weight and quit smoking. She is adept at handling urgent medical situations, ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment as well as treating and monitoring chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, heart disease, and metabolic disorders. She is passionate about preventive healthcare, offering services like pre-employment check-ups, women and child health screenings, annual comprehensive check-ups, and vaccination programs. Dr. Khalifa demonstrates a commitment to staying at the forefront of her field by actively participating in international conferences and seminars. Most recently, she attended the Arab Health Conference and the International Family Medicine Conference, both held in Dubai. She believes in continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest advancements in Family Medicine.
