Ms. Wajiha Anwar

Ms. Wajiha Anwar is a Physiotherapist at Medcare Medical Centre. She is qualified with a Bachelor’s (BPT) and Master’s (MPT) in Physiotherapy from the Gulf Medical University in Ajman. She is an HCPC Registered Physical Therapist from the UK Health and Care Professions Council and holds a First Aid Certification from IFRC Global First Aid Reference Centre. 

Ms. Anwar worked as a physiotherapist in rehabilitation settings and completed a clinical preceptorship at Gulf Medical University (GMU), strengthening her clinical and practical skills. She later joined Medcare as a Physiotherapist. She is committed to delivering patient-centred and evidence-based care to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life.

Ms. Anwar’s expertise covers the entire gamut of adult musculoskeletal physiotherapy and paediatric musculoskeletal conditions, with experience in managing spinal conditions, ligament injuries (ACL/PCL/MCL/LCL), repetitive strain injuries, and post-surgical and sports rehabilitation. She has had exposure to geriatric care, gait training, Joint replacement post-surgical rehabilitation, including recovery programmes, therapy planning, academic mentoring, and clinical supervision. She proficiently treats cervicalgia, lumbar radiculopathy, medial or lateral epicondylitis, rheumatic, osteoarthritis and other autoimmune disorders 

She speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
