Ms. Adeela Adham

Ms. Adeela Adham is a skilled Physiotherapist at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her BSc in Physiotherapy from the Gulf Medical University in Ajman, UAE. She holds Diplomas in Cervicogenic Headaches, in SIJ Joint Dysfunction, and in Knee Problems Physiotherapy Management, all from Prime Physio in the UAE. Further, she is certified in Dry Needling, Kinesio Taping, TMJ Disorders and Management, Spinal Manipulation (Basic and Advanced), and Dry Cupping Technique. Additionally, she holds a Certification in Robotic-assisted Sports Equipment Assessment.

Ms. Adham began her career with an internship at Dubai Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre and Rashid Hospital. Later, she joined the Thumbay Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre in Ajman as a Physiotherapist. She was working with Delta Plus Physiotherapy Clinic as a Physiotherapist before joining Medcare in a similar capacity.

Ms. Adham’s expertise spans the entire gamut of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy. She is proficient in sports injury management, providing evidence-based care with a focus on one-on-one approach manual therapy, posture and functional rehabilitation, TMJ dysfunction management, spinal manipulation and mobilisation and neuromuscular re-education. She focuses on musculoskeletal conditions in women's health, post-operative cases and lymphatic drainage. She treats ACL Reconstruction and pre- and post-operation patients, low back pain, cervicalgia, knock knees, scoliosis, patellofemoral disorders, sports injuries and muscular dystrophy. She is committed to delivering patient-centred treatment to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore optimal function using the latest interventions. 

During her leisure hours, she enjoys reading and taking long walks. To remain fit and active, she plays Badminton and works out at the gym.  She speaks Arabic, English, Hindi and Malayalam.
