Alexandre Machado

Alexandre Machado is one of the top European clinical neuropsychologists, currently based at the Jumeirah branch of Medcare Medical Centre. With a career spanning over 25 years, he has marked by a deep dedication to excellence in mental healthcare with extensive clinical and research experience in the fields of Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology, High Performance Psychological Coaching, Sports Psychology, and Military Psychology.
In addition to his prestigious academic background from the Catholic University of Lisbon (MSc Np and PhD St) and Lusofona University of Lisbon (BSc CPsy), Alexandre Machado is a versatile and multifaceted professional, with a wide range of certifications and specialized training. He is a Certified Specialist in Clinical Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation from Maastricht University in the Netherlands; Certified specialist in Computerized Psychological, Neuropsychological and Psychopathological assessment and rehabilitation, from  Schuhfried Institute in  Austria. Certified Clinical Neurofeedback specialist, by Mind Media Knowledge Centre in the Netherlands.

 He is also a decorated specialist in Military Psychology by NATO/US Army, with the "American Flag Honor" for his remarkable performance for the ISAF during Operation Enduring Freedom in Kabul, Afghanistan.
