Dr. Gilbert El Haddad

Dr. Gilbert El Haddad is a Specialist in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine at Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS and then his Post-graduation /Internship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Medical Sciences. He holds a Diploma of Exploration and Management of Infertility from the University Paris Descartes and an Inter-University Diploma of Ultrasound and Medical Imagery in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the University Paris V. He has completed a Master 2 of Prenatal Diagnosis and University Diploma of Foetal Medicine from the University Paris, Descartes, an Inter-University Diploma of Colposcopy and Cervicovaginal pathology from the University of Reims, a European Diploma of Laparoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Gynaecology from the International Center for Endoscopic Surgery (CICI), a Diploma of Breast Pathology from the University of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and several Basic and Advanced Diplomas in Reproductive Medicine and Embryology from Kiel School, Germany. He’s also privileged to hold a Fellowship Diploma in IVF and Reproductive Medicine from UKSH, Kiel, Germany.

During the initial years of his career, Dr. Haddad worked in Lebanon, at several hospitals like the Governmental Rafik Hariri University Hospital, The Sacre Coeur Hospital, the Notre Dame des Secours Hospital, the Sahel Hospital, the Middle East Institute of Health and the Saint Charles Hospital. He then moved to France, gaining rich experience in his field through rotation in different hospitals like the Regional University Maternity Hospital, Nancy, the Jean Monnet Hospital at Epinal, the Saint-Nicolas Hospital at Verdun, the Centre Alexis-Vautrin at Nancy, and a few APHP hospitals like the Cochin Hospital, the Necker- Enfants Malades Hospital and the Antoine Beclere Hospital. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE to become a Specialist in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine at Conceive - Gynaecology and Fertility Hospital (Dubai and Sharjah). He has been here for more than a decade and is reputed to be an expert in Assisted Reproductive Technologies.

Dr. Haddad proficiently manages PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, menopause, recurrent implantation failure, recurrent miscarriages and poor ovarian reserve through ovarian rejuvenation with PRP and stem cells. He does pap smears and colposcopies, treats Azoospermia in males, and removes intracavitary fibroids, polyps and adhesions through hysteroscopy. 

He likes to catch up on his reading when he can find time in his busy schedule. He enjoys listening to music and playing various sports. He speaks Arabic, English and French.
