Dr. Dimitrios Ziakas

With over two decades of professional experience and 3,500 successful procedures, Dr. Dimitrios Ziakas is an expert in hair transplant surgery, currently working at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital.  He qualified as a General Practitioner from the Medical University of Varna, Bulgaria and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. He is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons (AHRS) and the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL).

Dr. Ziakas is a board-certified surgeon with work experience across Athens, London, Mumbai and Paris. He worked as a Hair Transplant and Hair Restoration expert and a General Practitioner with the Alborj Hair Clinic, Dubai, before joining Medcare. He has special expertise in treatments, including hair transplant surgery and has extensive experience in performing both FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) techniques.

Dr. Ziakas is a proficient dermatologist and cosmetologist and offers a wide range of services for the diagnosis and treatment of various skin and hair conditions. Patients come to him for hair loss treatments, hair transplantation and laser treatments. He treats all kinds of alopecia, and conducts DHI hair, eyebrow and beard transplants.
