Dr. Mohamed Mostafa Abozaid

Dr.Mohamed Mostafa Abozaid is a skilled Specialist in Paediatrics and Neonatologyworking at Medcare Hospital, Sharjah. He completed his MBBCh and MD from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt and did a Residency Programme in Pediatrics & Neonatology. He holds a Diploma in Healthcare and Hospital Management from the American University in Cairo. He is certified by the Egyptian Board of Paediatrics. 

Dr. Abozaid has spent two decades in clinical practice in Paediatrics and Neonatology, across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He has been in positions of leadership and hospital management in Paediatric and Neonatology Departments of hospitals. He worked at Amina Hospital in Ajman, UAE, for over a decade, gaining extensive experience in managing thousands of newborns and children. In addition to his clinical role, through leadership positions, he ensures the highest standards of patient care, safety, and family-centred support. 

Dr Abozaid’s expertise encompasses neonatology and newborn care, paediatric gastroenterology disease management, paediatric pulmonology, paediatric nutrition, administering vaccinations, and performing preventive paediatrics. Throughout his career, he has developed profound expertise in the care of newborns, with a strong focus on growth and development, nutrition, vaccination, paediatric endocrinology and hormonal disorders, and gastroenterology diseases. He is committed to excellence in diagnosis, management, and long-term follow-up of children, especially of high-risk and newborn cases. With the combination of academic knowledge and hands-on experience, he brings a compassionate approach to paediatrics and neonatology.
