Dr. Reem Ahmed Al Fajeer

Dr. Reem Ahmed Al Fajeer is a Consultant Paediatrician at Medcare Medical Centre. She studied medicine at the Dubai Medical College in Dubai and completed her training and specialisation in Paediatrics at Tawam Hospital in Al Ain, UAE. She is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK.

Dr. Al Fajeer has over a decade of experience in delivering high-quality paediatric care across hospital and outpatient settings. She has practised in both government and private sectors in the UAE. She began her career as an Intern House Officer under the Dubai Heath Authority. She first joined as a Paediatric Resident and then became a full-time Paediatrician at Tawam Hospital in Al- Ain. Later, she worked as a specialist Paediatrician at Mediclinic Parkview before moving to Medcare. She has been an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU).

Dr. Al Fajeer has rich experience in the different fields of Paediatrics, including general Paediatrics, Neonatology care, Emergency care and inpatient/outpatient care. She manages complex paediatric cases, contributing to service development and upholding high standards of clinical governance. Her repertoire of skills includes treating infectious diseases, allergic conditions, asthma, allergic rhinitis and eczema. She also manages gastroenterological, endocrinological and pulmonological diseases, seeking specialist management if required. She addresses growth and developmental concerns, performs well-child visits, immunisation and age-directed screening. She is committed to evidence-based practice, using a patient- and family-centred approach to child healthcare. She is actively involved in medical education, with experience in teaching and mentoring junior doctors, residents, and medical students. 

She speaks Arabic and English fluently.
