Dr. Amal Alali

Dr. Amal Alali is a Specialist Paediatrician at Medcare Medical Centre. She obtained her MBBS degree from Damascus University, Syria, followed by a Specialisation certification in Paediatrics from the Syrian Board. She is a member of the American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP). 

Dr. Alali has over a decade of clinical experience in managing a wide range of paediatric conditions. She began her career at a private clinic in Syria and then moved to Oman to work at the German Medical Centre in Nizwa. Later, she moved to Salalah and practised as a Paediatrician first at Maxcare Hospital and then at Dhofar International Medical Centre, both in Oman. Subsequently, she relocated to the UAE to join Medcare. 

Dr. Alali provides comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents. Her expertise includes neonatal care, asthma and allergy management, gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases, nutritional assessment and counselling, paediatric dermatology, immunisation and monitoring growth and development. 

She treats ear infections, sinus infections, adenoid hypertrophy, epistaxis (nasal bleeding), constipation, reflux, chronic diarrhoea, chronic cough, food allergies, allergic rhinitis, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, gastroenteritis, parasites and helminthic infections. She focuses on treatment to overcome anaemia, iron deficiency, and vitamin D deficiency. She also monitors the growth of neonates and infants and treats them for jaundice, colic, bronchiolitis, feeding difficulties, eczema, diaper rash, infections, urticaria, fungal diseases and viral rashes. She is committed to delivering patient-centred care and educating parents on preventive health and child wellbeing.

 She speaks Arabic, English and a bit of German.
