Dr. Abhisheik Sivaraman

Dr. Abhisheik Sivaraman is a Specialist in the Department of Neonatology and Paediatrics  at the Medcare Royal Hospital Qusias and Motor City Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his basic education in medicine from the Government Medical College, Nagpur and then his MD (Paediatrics) from Lokmanya Tilak Sion Hospital, Mumbai in India. He also obtained a DNB (Paediatrics) from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi and a Fellowship in Neonatology (FNNF)where he gained immense exposure in handling critical new born babies from prestigious institutions in Central India. He is a Board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and a Diplomate  in Pediatric Nutrition from Boston University , USA. He also holds a diploma in Early  newborn Nutrition for the newborns from Munich University Germany.
He is a member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics and the National Neonatology Forum (NNF).

Dr Sivaraman has worked at renowned clinics and hospitals in India and the UAE. He was associated as a Paediatrician and Neonatologist at Mediclinic Park view hospital prior to joining Medcare group. During his initial days in UAE, Dr.  Abhisheik also worked as a paediatrician and neonatologist at Zulekha hospital Dubai. He is an experienced paediatrician and neonatologist with demonstrated skills in newborn Basic Life Support (BLS), Newborn Resuscitation (NRP), community health, and patient safety.  As a healthcare services professional, he has extensive expertise in the area of Newborn critical care, Newborn Nutrition, Breastfeeding and lactation, General paediatrics, vaccination, paediatric allergies including asthma, paediatric nutrition and NICU follow-up in the case of premature infants.

He has successfully managed various infectious and non-infectious childhood illnesses including acute and chronic illnesses, and paediatric emergencies, and handled multidisciplinary cases that have been complex and challenging. He is proficient in supervising paediatric growth and development, screening newborn and paediatric patients, counselling adolescents and running well-baby and vaccination clinics.

When he’s not studying or working, Dr. Sivaraman likes to unwind by playing cricket, working out at the Gym and listening to music. He’s good at grasping new languages and speaks English, Hindi, Tamil, Marathi and Malayalam.
