Dr. Rema Jawd Sujaa

Dr. Rema Jawd Sujaa is an ENT Specialist at Medcare Medical Centre. After her graduation in medicine, she completed her Master’s degree (MD) from the Faculty of Medicine at Damascus University, Syria. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, the European Rhinologic Society, the European Academy of Otology and Neurotology and the European Laryngological Society.

Dr. Sujaa began her medical career in Syria, gaining valuable experience working at the Damascus Hospital and the Al-Sweida Hospital, where she was actively involved in the clinical evaluation and management of various ENT conditions. Later, she became an Otorhinolaryngology Specialist at the Martyr Doctor Zaid Alshuraiti Hospital in Syria. During this period, she developed proficiency in treating ear infections, sinus diseases, throat infections, vertigo, allergic rhinitis, hearing disorders, and other common ENT conditions. 

In addition to her hospital practice, she successfully managed her own private ENT clinic, providing comprehensive outpatient care and specialised ENT consultations. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE to join Caremonde Day Surgical Centre as a Specialist in Otolaryngology.

Dr. Sujaa treats a wide spectrum of ear, nose, and throat disorders in both adults and children. Her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of complex ENT conditions as well as experience with multiple ENT surgical procedures, including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), tympanoplasty, myringotomy with grommet insertion, turbinate reduction, nasal polypectomy, and mastoid surgery. She performs detailed ENT examinations, nasal endoscopy, ear microscopy, and hearing assessments, while managing a wide range of conditions, including sinusitis, otitis media, tinnitus, hearing loss, nasal obstruction, ear wax removal, foreign body removal (ear/nose), allergic rhinitis, epistaxis, deviated nasal septum, nasal polyps, sleep apnoea / Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA), adenoid hypertrophy, vertigo

and paediatric ENT disorders. 

Being committed to continuous medical education and professional development, she regularly attends ENT conferences and surgical workshops to stay abreast of the latest techniques in otolaryngology. She speaks both Arabic and English and brings more than a decade of overall medical experience to her practice.
