Dr. Rabbei Harfoush

Dr. Rabbei Harfoush is a Consultant Otolaryngologist at Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS from Damascus University in Syria and a German MBBS from Sachsen in Leipzig, Germany. Further, he studied at the Saarbrücken Faculty of Medicine, Germany and was conferred his Facharzt in ENT Medicine from the Saarland Medical Association in Germany.

Dr. Harfoush has worked across Syria, Germany and the UAE for nearly two decades. He became an ENT Specialist working at Almoasat Hospital and at a Specialist Private Clinic, both in Syria. Later, he joined Acqua Klinic & Hospital in Leipzig and MVZ Saarpfalz, Saarbrücken, both in Germany as an ENT Consultant. Before moving to the UAE, he worked as a Surgeon and Specialist at St. Ingbert Hospital, Germany.

Dr. Harfoush performs ENT surgeries, including paediatric, ear, nose, and throat procedures, carries out complete physical exams, obtains medical histories and comprehensive evaluations for patients with hearing loss, leading to an appropriate line of treatment. He has extensive experience in administering allergy testing and immunotherapy services to treat allergic rhinitis effectively. He collaborates with audiologists to optimise hearing-aid fittings and cochlear implant programming. He conducts surgical procedures to address chronic sinusitis, resulting in reduced symptoms and increased patient satisfaction. He treats sleep apnoea patients, significantly improving their sleep quality and overall health. He treats nose, sinus and breathing problems, and hearing and equilibrium disorders. He participates in clinical trials evaluating innovative treatments for ENT disorders, contributing to advancements in medical therapies available to patients. 

During his spare time, he enjoys swimming and playing Tennis. He speaks Arabic, English and German.
