Dr. Khaled Almansoori

Dr. Khaled Almansoori is a Consultant and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital, Dubai. He is a highly qualified and accomplished surgeon. After completion of his MBBCh, he acquired an MD from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland followed by a Master's in Education (M.Ed) from the University of Alberta. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCS), a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and a Fellow of the North American Spine Society (FNASS). He is also a member of the Canadian Spine Association and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).

Initially, Dr. Almansoori worked at the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in the UAE before moving to Canada. He worked as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Northern Lights Regional Health Center in Canada. Subsequently, he got an opportunity to work in the US, first at Mount Sinai South Nassau Community Hospital in New York and then at the Advocate Christ Medical Center and Northwestern Palos Hospital in Chicago, as an Orthopaedic Surgeon.

His professional accomplishments encompass minimally invasive surgeries of the spine, endoscopic and microscopic spine surgeries, degenerative and traumatic spine pathologies, spondylolisthesis and spondylolysis, disc arthroplasty replacement, spinal deformity and scoliosis surgery and adult deformity and scoliosis surgery. He believes in incorporating more minimally invasive techniques into his treatment plans to provide a tailored range of modern options when caring for adult and paediatric spinal and skeletal deformities. Dr. Almansoori invests his leisure hours in teaching, spreading medical awareness, volunteering and doing clinical research. He is the Educational Development Director of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association's Basic Science Course for medical students, resident trainees and mentors in orthopaedic care. He is also a peer reviewer for several medical journals and participates as a clinical instructor for several educational programs, including ATLS and  AMTLS.
