Dr. Ahmad Al Shehadat

Dr. Ahmad Al Shehadat is an Orthopaedic Surgery Specialist in the Department of Orthopaedics at the Sharjah branch of Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS from Jordan University of Science and Technology. He holds a Jordanian Board Certificate in Orthopaedics and Joint Surgery, issued by the Jordan Medical Council. He had the privilege of completing his Residency at the Royal Medical Services, Jordan.

He is a member of the Jordanian Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Swiss Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons for Orthopaedics, Fractures and Accidents (AO trauma).

Having worked for nearly a decade in the Jordanian Royal Medical Services Hospitals, Dr. Shehadat garnered rich experience in the field of bone and joint diseases. He encountered and got the opportunity to treat a great number of orthopaedic cases and had the privilege of receiving training from the most experienced professionals in the country. He served as an Orthopaedic and Trauma Specialist with the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JRMS, then as a Specialist in the Advanced Trauma team at King Hussein Medical City and then as a Specialist at King Talal Military Hospital, all in Jordan. He practised briefly at his own private orthopaedic clinic in Jordan before relocating to the UAE.

Dr. Shehadat is a specialist in orthopaedic and joint surgery and his field of expertise includes conservative and surgical management for all types of fractures and soft tissue injuries. He manages sports injuries and sprains, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and osteopenia. He is an expert at diagnosing and treating back pain, neck pain and joint pain, evaluating and treating different types of paediatric orthopaedic problems including developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH),  gait, foot, hip and knee abnormalities. He treats fractures, trauma and pain of the upper and lower limbs with intra-articular injections. Dr. Shehadat is a skilled surgeon whose list of treatments covers tendon and ligament injuries, Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), Trigger finger, ganglionic cysts, knee, hip and ankle osteoarthritis, shoulder, elbow and wrist arthritis, back pain and neck pain, shoulder and knee sports injuries, and ankle sprains.
