Dr. Tiziana Corsini

Dr. Tiziana Corsini is a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her Master of Science in Medicine and Surgery and her Specialist Doctor training from the School of Specialization in Orthopaedics and Traumatology University of Parma, Italy. She holds a MAKO certification in robotics from Amsterdam and has completed her AO Trauma basic course. She is a member of the Società Italiana di Ortopedia e Traumatologia (SIOT) and the Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeons of Italy (OTODI).

Dr. Corsini commenced her career in Italy as an Orthopaedic intern at the Orthopaedic Clinic University Hospital of Parma, then became a freelance Orthopaedic and Trauma Consultant for Clinica Mobile nel Mondo (Moto Gp and SBK world championship). She later joined Ospedale di Vaio, Fidenza in Italy as Orthopedic and Trauma consultant in the department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Both these are affiliated to the Azienda U.S.L di Parma, Italy. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE to work with Medcare.

Her area of expertise covers all musculoskeletal conditions including osteoarthritis of the hip, knee, shoulder and ankle, knee and ankle sprain, Carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, De Quervain disease, tendonitis, frozen shoulder, shoulder tendonitis, lower bak pain and fractures of the wrist, ankle, shoulder and knee. She is skilled at knee replacement procedures, especially robotic-assisted knee replacement and uses the latest treatment options like PRP and hyaluronic acid injections.

Dr. Corsini enjoys travelling and keeping fit through diving. She speaks English and Italian fluently.
