Dr. Mahya Eddin Ahmad

Dr. Mahya Eddin Ahmad is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon at Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS and later got his Master's Degree (Syrian Board) in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery from Tishreen University, Syria. He is a member of the Syrian Orthopaedic Surgeons Syndicate. 

Dr. Ahmad commenced his career in Syria as an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident at the Tishreen University Hospital and also worked as a Physician at Alsoury Private Hospital, Latakia Governorate, Syria. Subsequently, he moved to the UAE to join the Emirates Hospitals Group as an Orthopaedic Surgeon. With almost a decade of experience, he is known for delivering exceptional results in orthopaedic surgeries and trauma care.

Dr. Ahmad’s expertise encompasses general orthopaedic trauma, emergency orthopaedic surgery, complex fracture management, knee and shoulder injections, knee arthroscopy, sports medicine, knee and hip arthroplasty, paediatric fracture treatment, osteomyelitis and joint infections, spine disorders, and back and neck pain management. He is proficient in the treatment of upper and lower extremities fractures, foot and ankle pain and trauma, limb salvage procedures, Rotator Cuff injuries, Tennis and Golf Elbow, infections and tendon and ligament Injuries.
