Dr. Abdellatif Laadhar

Dr. Abdellatif Laadhar is a Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery at Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis, Tunisia. Later, he obtained his Doctorate Degree in Medicine (PhD) as well as a Professional Master's Diploma in Medicine applied to Sports, both from the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis, Tunisia. Additionally, he holds a French Diploma of Specialised Medical Training (DFMS) in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology from the University of Strasbourg, France and a Master's Degree in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Department of Health of Tunisia and the Ministry of Higher Education, Tunisia. He is a member of the International AO Trauma Community, the French Society for Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery (SOFCOT) and the Tunisian Society of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery (SOTCOT).

Dr. Laadhar began his early working experience as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the International Hospital Centre in Carthage, Tunisia, where he collaborated with many prestigious clinics covering cases from Europe to Africa. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE to join Al Futtaim Health (HealthHub) and Al Garhoud Hospital as an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Later, he worked with the Emirates Speciality Hospital at Dubai Healthcare City, the Medeor Hospital and the NMC Royal Hospital, Dubai Investments Park (DIP).

Dr. Laadhar is an expert in Sports Medicine, performing knee arthroscopic procedures (ACL reconstruction and meniscal repair). He is proficient in Carpal Tunnel release (mini open or endoscopic), Trigger Finger release, trauma care and performs surgical procedures, including bone lengthening, bone reconstruction, foot and ankle surgery, ankle arthroscopy, and diabetic foot care. He treats patients with degenerative spine disease, herniated disc and spinal canal stenosis. He also performs pain management procedures including local infiltration, arthrocentesis, and trigger point injections (PRP, Steroid, Hyaluronic Acid). He has performed more than 300 hip and knee joint replacements. 

During his leisure hours, Dr. Laadhar likes to keep fit by playing sports, especially enjoying Tennis and Padel. He speaks Arabic, English, French and Italian.
