Dr. Mazen Salowm

Dr. Mazen Salown has done his medical studies in the Medical Faculty at Al Fateh University in Lybia, where he got a medical doctor degree in 2001. His residency for general surgery were done at Damascus University (Syria). He finished his training in 2007. Then he started his residency for paediatric surgery and finished in 2012. Dr. Mazen Salown joined Al Swaida Hospital, as a paediatric surgery specialist and worked for 4 years, where he published a study on 24 cases of esophageal atresia with high success rate. He moved to UAE in 2017 and joined Al Qasemi  Hospital as paediatric surgery specialist for 2 years then shifted to Zulekha Hospital  and worked there for one year. He operated one case of esophageal with long gap by Foker's procedure which was challenging case. He is interested in cosmetic paediatric surgery like cleft lip and repair of hypospadias.
