Dr. Nour Hani Othman

Dr. Nour Hani Othman is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Hospital – Sharjah. She completed her MBBS from Dubai Medical College and a Postgraduate Diploma in Ultrasound Technology Applications from the University of Sharjah. She also holds a Master's in Ultrasound in Gynaecology and Obstetrics from the School of Science and Technology at the University of Sarajevo. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK (MRCOG) and the Royal College of Physicians (Obs & Gyn), Ireland (MRCPI). She is a European Fellow of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EFOG-EBCOG). 

During the initial stages of her career, Dr. Othman worked as a General Practitioner in Damascus, Syria. Subsequently, she relocated to the UAE. She first joined Al Dalil Medical Center, Sharjah and then Al Qassimi Women's and Children's Hospital (EHS) as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, where she worked for the last decade.

Dr. Othman diagnoses and treats a variety of conditions related to reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth. She treats patients right through pregnancy, carrying out Caesarean sections and hysterectomies, antenatal care and high-risk pregnancies. She practises foetal-maternal medicine, manages early pregnancy and takes care of women's health. She performs various scans, including the first Trimester scan, anomaly scan, growth scan, early pregnancy scan and Gynaecology scan. She administers BLS, ACLS, NLS and ALS competently.

She speaks Arabic and English.
