Dr. Reem Badawi

Dr. Reem Badawi is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and her Master's Degree specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Aleppo University in Syria. She is a member of the Syrian Obstetricians Association. 

Dr. Badawi began her career as a Specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Al-Ihsan Charity in Aleppo, Syria. She later worked with the Jesuit Refugee Services JRS, the Aleppo University Hospital and the Syrian Speciality Hospital, all in Aleppo, Syria. Simultaneously, she had her own private practice in Aleppo, Syria. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE to join the Best Life Fertility Centre in Sharjah, as a Specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. 

Dr. Badawi provides comprehensive care in women’s reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and related surgical procedures. While advising her patients on preventive care, she provides accurate diagnoses, treatments, and patient education. She is proficient in performing normal deliveries, Caesarean sections and high-risk pregnancies. She treats women who come to her for recurrent miscarriages, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menstrual disorders, infertility and menopause related issues. She advises patients on contraception, family planning, sexual health, and preventive screenings.

During her free time, she enjoys catching up on her reading. She speaks Arabic and English.
