Dr. Naysla Tatiana Galvis

Dr. Naysla Tatiana Galvis is a Specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Town Square branch of Medcare Medical Centre. She completed both her MBBS and Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Colombia followed by training in Menopause, Gynaecology and Endocrinology from Spain.

Dr. Galvis practised for almost a decade in Columbia, working in private clinics, and garnering rich experience in high-risk obstetrics. She also spent a year and a half training and managing menopausal patients and gynaecological pathology in Madrid, Spain.

Her expertise includes antenatal care, high-risk pregnancies, obstetrics and gynaecologic basic ultrasound, cervical screening and colposcopy, ovarian dysfunction and laparotomy procedures like adnexectomy, cystectomy, myomectomy and hysterectomy. She has proficiently managed normal and Caesarean deliveries, tubal ligation, D&C, menstrual disorders, menopause and climacteric and cervical preneoplasic pathologies. She also conducts family planning and contraceptive advice, annual health check-ups, and basic breast ultra-sound and benign breast pathologies. 

In her free time, she likes to listen to music, cook and spend time with her family. She keeps fit through regular exercise and speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese.
