Dr. Jamalunnisa Gaffar

Dr. Jamalunnisa Gaffar is a highly skilled Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. She completed her MBBS and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DGO) from the Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India. She then went on to further specialise with an Advanced Training in Laparoscopy and Fertility from Paul's Hospital in Kochi, India. She has completed Ultrasound Training and done an IBC Course from Obstetric and Gynaecological Institute of Ultrasound, Dubai, UAE, an Advanced Techniques in Operative Gynaecology Endoscopy Course from IRCAD, France and an Advanced Laparoscopic Course from the Sunrise Hospital in New Delhi, India. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG), London, UK.

Dr. Gaffar has spent almost two decades delivering expert care across a broad spectrum of gynaecological and obstetric conditions. During her initial years, she worked at the Co-operative Medical College, Kochi as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and then moved to the UAE to work with Medcare Hospital LLC as a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Later, she joined Medeor 24x7 Hospital as a Specialist under Supervision in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Subsequently, she worked as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Medeor Hospital, the Health Hub Clinic and Zia Medical Centre, gaining rich experience and proving her expertise in minimally invasive surgeries, reproductive endocrinology and laparoscopic techniques. 

With a reputation for successfully managing complex gynaecological disorders, high-risk pregnancies and fertility issues, Dr. Gaffar is deeply committed to providing patient-centred care. Patients come to her for vaginal deliveries, Caesarean sections, pelvic floor repair, hormonal replacement therapy, menopausal and PCOS management, Nexplanon insertion and removal, vaginal hysterectomy and vaginal rejuvenation.
