Dr. Hebatalla Abdelaziz Elbata

Dr. Hebatalla Abdelaziz Elbata is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS from Menoufia University in Egypt and later completed her Master's degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG), UK and holds a Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery from the World Laparoscopy Hospital in association with Sharjah University.

With over two decades of experience in her chosen field, Dr. Elbata has worked across Egypt, Australia, and the UAE. She began her distinguished career at Menoufia University Hospital, followed by Al Hilal Hospital, both in Egypt. She then gained further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Al Qassimi Hospital and later at Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in the UAE. Subsequently, she moved to Australia, where she worked with the North Metropolitan Health Service at St John of God Hospital, and later transferred to Rockingham Hospital as a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Prior to joining Medcare, she also served as a Specialist at Amina Hospital in Ajman.

Dr. Elbata’s expertise spans the entire gamut of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including antenatal care, high-risk pregnancies, PCOs, ovarian cysts, infertility, menstrual irregularities, menopause, genital organ prolapse, cancer screening of the cervix, cryocautery, contraception and sexual health, normal and instrumental deliveries, Caesarean sections and gynaecological surgeries. She proficiently treats all early pregnancy complications like miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy and molar pregnancy, obstetric complications and emergencies like PPH, retained placenta, perineal tears, cord prolapse, polycystic ovarian cases, infertility cases, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids and dysfunctional uterine bleeding. She treats all genitourinary problems, insertion and removal of vaginal pessaries, female dyspareunia, genital infections, sexually transmitted infections and genital warts. She performs diagnostic hysteroscopy, dilatation and curettage, cervical screening and colposcopy, and manages abnormal findings.
