Dr. Ghada Mohamed Abdelazim Ibrahim

Dr. Ghada Mohamed Abdelazim Ibrahim is a Specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBCh from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in Egypt and her MSc in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University. She has passed Part 2 of the MRCOG examination and is an Associate Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), UK, with plans to further enhance her qualifications.

Dr. Ibrahim commenced her career as a house officer intern at Cairo University Hospitals. Here, she gained foundational clinical experience through rotations across various specialities. She then did her Residency Programme at the Om El-Masreyeen Hospital in Egypt, successfully completing a structured training programme qualifying her for her Master’s degree. She worked as a Specialist Registrar at El Soudan Hospital in Egypt before relocating to the UAE. She joined the Emirates Hospital, Jumeirah as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and then the Prime Healthcare Group, Dubai in a similar capacity. 

Dr. Ibrahim’s gamut of expertise revolves around high-risk pregnancy management, labour and delivery, treating menstrual abnormalities and performing fertility work-ups. She is also proficient in colposcopy, hysteroscopy procedures and gynaecological surgeries. She imparts excellent family planning advice to her patients.

During her leisure hours, she enjoys reading, studying and indulging in Arabic calligraphy and crochet. She speaks Arabic and English.
