Dr. Emina Ejubovic

Dr. Emina Ejubovic is a Specialist in Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine at the JBR and Palm Jumeirah branch of Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and her MD (Specialist) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Federal Ministry of Health, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also has a PhD in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She is a member of the Medical Chamber of Zenica-Doboj Canton.

Dr. Ejubovic commenced her career as a Doctor of Medicine in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Cantonal Hospital, Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina and then spent a few years at the same hospital as a Resident and then as a Specialist in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. Thereafter, she moved to the Policlinic Sunce Zenica, as a part-time Specialist in Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine and also did a stint with the Policlinic Medicom Zenica, both in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was an Assistant professor and Head of the Department of Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine at Sarajevo Medical School, Sarajevo School of Science and Technology until she relocated to the UAE.

Dr. Ejubovic has spent a decade in her chosen field, having achieved the entire gamut of experience from the delivery and operation room, monitoring normal and high-risk pregnancies, diagnostics and treatment of hormonal disbalances, sterility and infertility to small gynaecological interventions. Her expertise lies in monitoring and management of normal and high-risk pregnancies, vaginal and Caesarean section delivery, diagnosing and treating primary and secondary sterility and infertility, treatment of recurrent pregnancy loss and treating different hormonal disbalances. She manages typical gynaecological interventions, practices preventive gynaecology, performs ultrasound diagnostics and provides regular consultation for different obstetrical, gynaecological, reproductive and genetical conditions. She has carried out sutures of episiotomies, vaginal and perineal ruptures, biopsies, vacuum aspirations and curettage, adnexectomies, salpingectomies, hysterectomies, anterior and posterior repairs and placement and removal of intrauterine device (IUD).

In her spare time, Dr. Ejubovic enjoys travelling, listening to music and learning about other cultures. She visits the gym regularly and believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She has a flair for languages and speaks Serbian, Croatian, English, Spanish, Turkish, German, Italian and Portuguese in addition to her native Bosnian.
