Dr. Ahmad Mansour Abu Alika

Dr. Ahmad Mansour Abu Alika is a reputed Specialist in the Department of Neurology at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. After completing his MBBS, he obtained a Doctor in Medicine from Damascus University and a Master’s Degree in Neurology from the Ministry of Health in Syria. He is a member of the Syrian Doctors Syndicate, the Syrian Association of Neurological Sciences and the World Federation of Neurology.

Dr. Abu Alika commenced his career with the Daraa National Hospital in Syria where he later established the Department of Neurology and continued as the Head of the division for almost two decades. He then relocated to the UAE where he spent a few years with the Khorfakkan Governmental Hospital, Sharjah followed by a long stint at the Zulekha Hospital. He also worked as a Specialist Neurologist at the Al Garhoud Private Hospital, Dubai and the Highgate International Hospital. Dr. Abu Alika is much sought after for his expertise in the field of Neurology and is considered to be among the best Neurologists in Dubai.

With excellent skills and experience, Dr. Abu Alika manages a wide spectrum of neurological conditions that include headaches, migraine, epilepsy, seizures, cervical and back pain, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, Bell's palsy, haemorrhagic and ischemic stroke, involuntary movements, Alzheimer's disease and Spasticity. He proficiently treats patients with multiple sclerosis, cerebral haemorrhages and cranial and peripheral nerve diseases. He keeps himself updated with the new techniques in his field and performs EEG and NCS.
