Dr. Rajashree Ganesh

Dr. Rajashree Ganesh is a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Medcare Hospital – Sharjah. She completed her MBBS at M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, and her MD in Internal Medicine at JJM Medical College, both of which are affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. 

Dr. Ganesh commenced her career as a Medical Registrar at Mallya Hospital and then became a Lecturer at M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. Later, she served as a Hospitalist in the Internal Medicine Department and then as a Consultant in Internal Medicine at Columbia Asia Hospital, Bangalore. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE to join as a Specialist and Clinical Lecturer in Internal Medicine at the Thumbay Hospital in Ajman.  

Dr. Ganesh’s expertise encompasses comprehensive healthcare for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, focusing on both complex and common illnesses. She manages and provides treatment plans for chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, cholesterol-related problems, bronchial asthma, anaemia, deficiencies, infectious diseases and thyroid-related problems. She ensures adequate screening and advice for patients with pre-diabetes, pre-hypertension, connective tissue diseases, etc. She believes in delicate care for patients with pregnancy-related diabetes, hypertension, anaemia, and thyroid-related issues, and gives guidance for adult immunisation, medical fitness, travel, obesity, and nutritional health.

She speaks several languages including Arabic, English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
