Dr. Eman Abdul Kader Alabar

Dr. Eman Abdul Kader Alabar is a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. She completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD), an MSc in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Nephrology from Damascus University in Syria. She also holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Swiss Business School in the UAE.

During the early stages of her career, Dr. Alabar served as an Internal Medicine Resident at Almouassat Hospital, Al-Assad University Hospital and Damascus University Hospital, all in Syria. She then worked as an Internal Medicine Physician at a Private Clinic in Damascus, Syria, delivering long-term care for patients with chronic illnesses. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE and joined Dibba Hospital in Fujairah as an Internal Medicine Specialist, handling emergency admissions and facilitating complex cases. Later, she worked as a Specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Al-Sharq Hospital in Fujairah, and as Department Head and Internal Medicine Specialist at Saudi German Hospital in Ajman. Before joining Medcare, she worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist at Burjeel Specialty Hospital in Sharjah, where she mentored junior doctors and provided multidisciplinary care plans for complex internal medicine patients.

Dr. Alabar’s repertoire covers the entire gamut of chronic disease management, nephrology and dialysis, acute and emergency medical care, clinical teaching and curriculum development, quality assurance and patient safety, multidisciplinary team leadership, health policy and compliance, electronic health record (EHR) systems, as well as patient-centred care and communication. She treats hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, pneumonia, respiratory diseases, diabetes mellitus (Type 1 & 2), thyroid disorders, metabolic syndrome and obesity, peptic ulcer disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), urinary tract infections (UTI), electrolyte imbalance and anaemia. She is particular about routine health check-ups, screening for chronic diseases, vaccination and immunisation, and lifestyle and risk factor management.
