Dr. Santosh Vijaynarayan Dwivedi

Dr. Santosh Vijaynarayan Dwivedi is a Specialist in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Discovery Gardens branch of Medcare Medical Centre. He acquired his MBBS from the University of Poona followed by a  DNB in  Internal Medicine from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. He also holds a  Diploma in Diabetes. He is a member of the Association of Physicians of India (API).

With almost two decades of medical experience in the field of medicine, Dr. Dwivedi has treated patients with serious diseases across many countries like Singapore, the UK, Ireland and India. A competent and compassionate physician, he is proficient at treating patients for a variety of conditions. Having worked under stressful conditions, he has rich experience in stroke medicine which includes identifying and thrombolysing acute stroke cases. He is highly dedicated and trained to diagnose, monitor and treat patients who have life-threatening illnesses and injuries.

Dr. Dwivedi’s expertise includes providing care to adults in the ICU who have severe cardiac and respiratory conditions, complications from surgery, trauma to the brain, renal failure, bacterial infections and chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension. He also manages rheumatological issues, fever and acute febrile illness.

When he’s not working, Dr. Dwivedi likes listening to music, playing cricket, travelling and watching movies. He is fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi & Urdu
