Dr. Raghad Mohammad Jaradat

Dr. Raghad  Mohammad Jaradat is a Specialist in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Barsha South branch of Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her basic medical education and MD from the Hashemite University in Jordan. She holds a Certificate of high specialization in Internal Medicine from the Jordan Medical Council, Jordan and is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). She is passionate about learning and implementing it in her field of work. She is certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) and in Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association. She is a member of the Jordan Medical Association

Dr. Jaradat started her career as a General Practitioner at the National Center for Diabetes Endocrinology and Genetics in Ammam, Jordan followed by a short stint with Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) in Canada. Here, she gained valuable global exposure and cultural competence and got the opportunity to provide humanitarian aid and emergency relief to vulnerable populations. Subsequently, she qualified herself in Internal Medicine and spent a little less than a decade with the Jordanian Royal Medical Services as an Internal Medicine Specialist before moving to the UAE.

She provides comprehensive and holistic care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, ranging from acute to chronic. She has treated diabetes and metabolic disorders, anaemia, hypertension, heart diseases, lipid-related disorders, gout, kidney disorders and chronic kidney diseases, stroke, headache, thyroid disorders, asthma /COPD, gastrointestinal disorders, peptic ulcer disease and oesophageal disorders. She is proficient in treating deficiencies, infectious diseases, pyrexia, general health checkups and vaccinations. Dr. Jaradat has a special interest in medical education and research and has contributed to the training and supervision of residents and interns. She believes in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the delivery of healthcare services. 

In her free time, Dr. Jaradat likes reading, sports, hiking, colouring and cooking. She speaks Arabic and English.
