Dr. Nassim Y I Salamin

Dr. Nassim Y I Salamin is a Consultant in Internal Medicine at Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS at the University of Sharjah, UAE and later acquired an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Arab Board degree at SEHA’s Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), UK and has completed several certifications like BLS, ACLS and Nutrition for Sports & Human Performance.

Dr. Salamin began his career as a General Practitioner at WeCare Home Health Solutions in Al Ain, UAE. Later, he became a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi and then a Hospitalist and Consultant in Internal Medicine at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, Dubai.

Dr. Salamin specialises in the prevention, diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment of common adult diseases and manages both routine health needs and complex medical conditions. He treats asthma, COPD, acute and chronic cough, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidaemia, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular diseases like heart failure, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, endocrine and thyroid disease, adrenal insufficiency, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, gastroenteritis, unexplained fever, brucellosis, dengue, malaria, acute and chronic kidney disease, electrolyte imbalance, clotting disorders like DVT and pulmonary embolism, anaemia, dyspepsia, GERD, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, acute and chronic headaches, migraine, tension and cluster headaches, stroke, facial palsy, herpes zoster and peripheral neuropathy.
