Dr. Meena Menon Cheppayil

Dr. Meena Menon Cheppayil is a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Medcare Medical Centre. She obtained her MBBS degree from Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University in Pondicherry, India, followed by a Master's degree from Sri Devraj URS Academy of Higher Education and Research in Kolar, India.

 Dr. Cheppayil commenced her career as a Consultant Physician at the SD TATA Hospital, Chottanikkara and then joined the Sunrise Hospital, Kakkanad, both in India. Subsequently, she relocated to the UAE to join i-CARE Multi-specialty Clinics, part of the Emirates Hospital Group, as a Specialist in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Cheppayil’s expertise in Internal Medicine covers the entire gamut of diagnosis, treatment and research on diabetes, hypertension, thyroid, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and infectious diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya, COVID-19, typhoid, hepatitis A, diarrhoea, tuberculosis, influenza and leptospirosis.  She also treats patients with conditions like poisoning, myocardial infarction and renal complications. She is proficient in adult immunisation and wellness.

During her spare time, she enjoys dancing as it keeps her fit. She speaks English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil.
