Dr. Alwan has gained rich work experience and held posts at a number of hospitals, including the Baghdad Teaching Hospital, the University Teaching Hospital in Jordan, the Speciality Hospital in Jordan, Istishari Hospital, Jordan and Thumbay Hospital in Dubai. She is a member of the Iraqi Medical Association, the Jordanian Medical Association and the DHA.
