Dr. Megha Gupta

Dr. Megha Gupta is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS from the esteemed Aligarh Muslim University in India and later obtained her Master of Surgery (MS) from the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, India. She holds certifications in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Ultrasound in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. She is a member of the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of India (FOGSI).

Dr. Gupta has worked across India and the UAE as a skilled Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She began her career as a Consultant with Jeevan Speciality Hospital & Test Tube Baby Centre and later joined the Seth G S Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India as a Registrar. After a brief stint at Matra Chhaya Clinic and Nursing Home, Aligarh, India, as a consultant, she relocated to the UAE. She worked as a Specialist at several hospitals in the UAE, including the Mediclinic City Hospital, the Magnum Gulf Medical Centre, the JTS Medical Centre, the Al Das Medical Centre, the Al Zahra Hospital, the Kings College Hospital London Medical Centre branch of Kch Healthcare LLC, the Saudi German Hospital and Clinics and the Axon Medica Polyclinic.

Dr. Gupta’s expertise covers the entire gamut of pregnancy, childbirth, and gynaecological conditions. She has successfully treated menstrual irregularities, perimenopausal and menopause related conditions, uterine fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and other endocrine disorders. She is proficient in managing pregnancy and child birth including high risk pregnancy, normal vaginal delivery, caesarean section, operative delivery, gestational diabetes and gestational hypertension, IUGR, twin pregnancy and performs antenatal screening. She also does screening for cervical and breast cancer, infertility workup and treatment, adolescent health and HPV immunisation. She is passionate about her work and likes to treat the patient as a whole and not just the disease. 

In her spare time, she likes to remain fit by swimming and playing Badminton, and enjoys baking too. She speaks English, Hindi and Urdu.
