Dr. Mohamed Tawfek Jabri

Dr. Mohamed Tawfek Jabri is a Consultant General Surgeon at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. He completed his MBBS from the University of Komensky in Bratislava, Slovakia. He is certified by the German Board in General Surgery and in Visceral Surgery. Additionally, he received training in the Department of General, Visceral and Transplantation Surgery at the University Hospital of Essen, Germany. He is a member of the German Surgeon Association (BDC) and the Westfalen-Lippe Medical Board

Dr. Jabri has worked in several geographical locations, including Germany, Slovakia, Wales and the UAE. He started his career as a Resident in the Department of General and Abdominal Surgery, followed by a Residency in the Department of Traumatology and Hand Surgery and the Intensive Care Unit at Sophien and Hufeland Hospital in Weimar, Germany. He spent more than a decade working at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hagen, Germany, first as a Resident, then as a Specialist General Surgeon, Acting Consultant and finally as a Consultant Surgeon and Deputy Head of the Department for General, Visceral Surgery and Proctology. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE, where he was Consultant General, Advanced Laparoscopic and Colorectal Surgeon at Dr. Rami Hamed Centre (DRHC) and Consultant General and Visceral Surgeon at HMS Mirdif Hospital

Dr. Jabri’s expertise covers advanced General and Visceral Surgery, including minimal invasive surgery such as Laparoscopic Surgery for Hernias, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Liver, Colorectal and the Stomach. He treats patients with conditions that require advanced laparoscopic and colorectal surgery, as well as general abdominal procedures. He treats gallbladder diseases, liver, pancreas, abdominal wall hernias, haemorrhoids, anal fistulas, gastrointestinal issues, thyroid, colon diseases, including colon and thyroid cancer. He is known for combining technical expertise with an ethical, patient-centred approach and excellent bedside manner
