Dr. Marwan Ibrahim

Dr. Marwan Ibrahim is a Family Medicine Specialist at Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS at the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria, Egypt and his GP training through the Nottingham VTS Scheme, UK. He holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from the RCGP, UK and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), London, UK. Additionally, he holds several certifications in Basic Surgical Skills, Basic Life Support and Advanced Trauma Support from Gloucestershire Royal NHS Foundation Trust. 

Dr. Ibrahim began his career as a GP and Orthopaedic Resident at Hassab Private Hospital in Alexandria, Egypt, and at a Health Insurance organisation where he worked as an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident. Later, he moved to the UAE to work at Aster DM Healthcare as a General Practitioner. Subsequently, he moved to the UK, where he gained broad clinical experience across Nottingham University Hospital and Gloucestershire Royal NHS Foundation Trust, including the Cheltenham General Hospital, and in Primary Care at Oakenhall Medical Practice and Torkard Medical Centre. 

Dr. Ibrahim provides comprehensive, patient-centred care in Family Medicine. His role involves diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, conducting consultations, and promoting preventive health measures. He treats respiratory infections, acute illness, thyroid and hormonal disorders, diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Men, women, and children consult him for conditions involving both their physical and mental health. Being an active listener, problem-solver, and delivering empathetic care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team goes a long way in practising preventive medicine.

He believes in efficient documentation and continuity of care and keeps himself abreast of the latest developments in his line of work. He is fluent in both Arabic and English.
