About

A gastroenterology specialist, Dr. Emad Fayyad completed his Bachelors and Masters from Romania, and has also qualified for the Jordan Board Certificate in Gastroenterology.
He has worked at Rashid Hospital in Dubai and taught at the Dubai Medical College. He has also worked at the Luliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania.

Dr. Fayyad stays abreast with his field through his participation in a number of professional association. These are, the Emirates Society of Gastroenterology, the Jordan Society of Gastroenterology, the Romanian Society of Gastroenterology, the Romanian Society of Endoscopy, the Romanian Society of Ultrasonography, the European Society of Ultrasonography and the European Society of Endoscopic Ultrasonography.

Dr. Fayyad conducts endoscopy of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. He performs ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), USS (ultra sonography) and EUS (endoscopic ultrasound) procedures.

Dr. Fayyad still manages to make some time to pursue his passion for basketball, swimming, horse riding, and travel. He can speak with his patients in Arabic, English, and Romanian.
