Dr. Somaia Salah Meligy

Dr. Meligy started her career as a Resident Dentist at the University Dental Hospital of Sharjah which included duties as a research assistant and supervising and mentoring BDS students. She continued there as Senior Resident Dentist and has practised as a General and Aesthetic Dentist using lasers at reputed hospitals in Sharjah.
Right from her college days, Dr. Meligy has been passionate about her chosen field of work, She served as the head of the media committee in the Pulse of Life Society of the medical campus at the University of Sharjah and was elected to be the Vice President of the Dental Students Society. Being ambitious and interested in the dental research world she took part in international conferences and won many accolades for papers presented.
Dr. Meligy is an accomplished aesthetic and laser dentist with experience in cosmetic fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers and natural smile makeovers, gummy smiles, teeth whitening, scaling and polishing of teeth. She uses the latest technologies for root canal treatment, tooth extraction, both surgical and non-surgical and the treatment of gingival problems and the surrounding tissues. She also does paediatric dental treatments.
She speaks Arabic and English, fluently.
