Dr. Wahid Ahmad Fayad Koudsi

Dr. Wahid Ahmad Fayad Koudsi is a General Practitioner at Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS from RAK Medical and Health Sciences University in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

After completing his graduation, Dr. Koudsi interned at the Emirates Health Services Facilities and then worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Internal Medicine Department at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University. Subsequently, he worked in collaboration with Sharjah Charity International as Medical Director of their medical centre and as a General Practitioner, he handled in-patient wards and Emergency department patients at Burjeel Specialty Hospital.

As a General Practitioner, Dr. Koudsi takes care of chronic and complex health conditions, ensures treatment of urgent and acute non-life-threatening diseases, preventive care including health education and immunisation, screening and early detection of disease, palliative care and referral to allied health professions for specialised medical care. He has successfully treated patients with pneumonia, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, infective gastroenteritis, scabies, eczema, tapeworms, H. pylori infection, GERD, diabetes, hypertension, UTI, benign prostatic hyperplasia, asthma, anaemia, otitis media, otitis externa, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal injuries and conjunctivitis.

After spending hours at work, Dr. Koudsi likes to unwind by playing Football, Basketball, Tennis, and Padel. In his spare time, he enjoys reading too. He speaks Arabic and English.
