Dr. Vijitha Mary Vinod

Dr. Vijitha Mary Vinod is a Physician and General Practitioner at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS from The Academy of Medical Sciences (ACME), Pariyaram, which is affiliated to Kannur University, Kerala, India.

Dr. Vinod has spent more than a decade in diverse healthcare settings across the UAE, Oman and India. She commenced her career as a Resident Medical Officer at the M.C. Hospital in Trikaripur, India. She then joined the Taluk Hospital Trikaripur in Kasaragode, followed by the Community Health Centre, Ramamangalam and Vazhakkulam Health Centre as Assistant Surgeon. Subsequently, she moved to Oman, where she worked at the Al Raazi Modern Specialized Complex in Salalah. Later, she moved to the UAE, where she practised as a General Practitioner first at Noor Al Shefa Clinic, Dubai, then at NMC Royal Medical Centre, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Shams Medical Centre, Sharjah. She combines expertise with the latest medical advancements to deliver optimal health outcomes.

Dr. Vinod is known for her holistic, patient-centred care with emphasis on long-term wellness. She treats diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, thyroid disorders, infections, gastrointestinal issues, cardiovascular conditions, musculoskeletal complaints, respiratory and gastrointestinal conditions, genitourinary conditions, abscess drainage and skin lesion excisions. She performs minor surgical procedures, assists in gynaecological cases and emergencies, administers vaccinations, health check-ups and preventive medicine services.
