Dr. Yousif Khalaf Saleh

Dr. Yousif Khalaf Saleh is an ENT Specialist at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. After completing his MBChB, he obtained a post-graduation certification from the Iraqi Board for Medical Specializations in ENT-HNS. He followed this with a certification from the European Board Examination in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (EBE-ORL-HNS). He also holds a Diploma in Laryngology and Otology - Head and Neck Surgery (DLO-HNS) from the UK. He trains Iraqi Board Students in ENT-HNS. He is a member of the Iraqi Medical Association and the American Association of ENT-HNS.

Dr. Saleh has spent more than three decades in his chosen field, having worked across several countries. He has conducted workshops in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery in Dubai, Germany and Spain. He did a Temporal Bone Cadaveric Dissection course in Germany and a Rhinoplasty course in Dubai. He worked as an ENT Specialist at the Canadian Specialist Hospital before joining Medcare.

Dr. Saleh is an expert in Nasal, Head and Neck, Ear, and Throat and Laryngeal Surgery. He treats all nasal infections like rhinitis, sinusitis, tumours, foreign bodies in the nose, trauma, polyps, bleeding, and allergic rhinitis. He believes in holistic treatment that includes medicine, immunotherapy and biologicals. He treats deviated nasal septum and hypertrophied turbinates through surgery to relieve nasal blockage and performs endoscopic removal of adenoids with or without tonsillectomy using coblation technology. He is proficient in treating all ear conditions like wax, foreign body, infections with pain, hearing difficulties, trauma, and vertigo with tinnitus. He performs rhinoplasty surgery, neck surgery to remove neck masses and cysts and salivary gland tumours, laryngeal surgery to remove laryngeal masses and tumours or vocal cord nodules and coblation surgery for adenoids and tonsils in adults and children. Additionally, he conducts audiological tests for hearing assessment.
